Glucose
Glucose is the primary sugar produced during Photosynthesis. It is synthesized from the three-carbon molecule G3P during the Calvin Cycle. Glucose serves as an energy source for the plant, is stored as starch, or is used to build cellulose for structural support. It is also the starting molecule for Cellular Respiration in both plants and animals.
